Bio: Matthew is a local bluegrass musician based in Frisco, TX. His musical journey started with mandolin while studying as an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin. There, he helped establish the student organization Burnt Orange Bluegrass. Since then, Matthew has performed in a variety of bands and stages in Austin, Houston, and Dallas. Currently, he is the mandolinist for The Grackles Bluegrass Band and an active volunteer for the Bluegrass Heritage Foundation. Matthew hopes that his music inspires and engages those that hear it.
